   I did manage to get the film into my blog but by trying this way and that, and now I couldn't tell you exactly what I did! I do know that I wasn't in the blog at the time. I think I got it inserted from within panopta. I'll have to give it another go so it's more intentional! I never found the green icon though, so could still do with guidance... Here's hoping

   what I did was create a video (camera and edited with clipchamp). Go into panopto. Click CREATE then 'upload media'. found the video on my computer then waited for it to upload to panoto.  When it was safely in my panoto folder I clicked 'share' and embed, then pasted the link into my spaces blog.  I'm sure there is an easier way!!!

   I can see on your post that you pasted a link rather than embedded a video. You may want to make sure that your Panopto video permissions allow your tutor to see the video. By default, my permissions are only shared with myself. If you log into Panopto click on My Folder. Once there click on the Share icon:

   

    

   You then have two options, depending on how far you want to share your video. If you only want to share it with a few people I'd suggest adding a few names in the Add people and groups field. If you want to share it wider select Change (it's a link to the right of Who can access this video). You will see the following options:

   

   I tend to share with Your Organization (unlisted). That just means anyone with an OCA account can view it as long as they have a link.

    

   If you then want to embed the video in your blog, there are a couple more steps to follow. Create or edit a post in Spaces. Click on Toggle block inserter (it should look like a coloured box with a +) and search for Custom HTML:

   

   Then paste the embed code in the box where it says Write HTML... Click on Preview if you would like to see what the video will look like. And then just publish as normal.

   That's really helpful thank you. I had got a far as I had by trial and error but as you say it's only the link that is on my blog and I'd like the actually video. I'm out atm but I'll have a look later.. It's that toggle block inserter that I don't recognise.... Every step I get nearer😊
