Dear OCA Students,

Registration for the forthcoming and optional October 26th TEL Technology Workshop is now open, and students are welcome to register their attendance using the Technology Workshop Registration activity.

Due to a decline in attendance and for the foreseeable future, there'll be a single workshop per month, with October's workshop scheduled for 14:00 BST on October 26th.

During the registration process, students are invited to provide any specific subject(s), process(es) or question(s) they’d like to discuss throughout the workshop, and will be used to form the workshop agenda. The agenda for each workshop will later be published approximately a week prior to the session and using the Technology Workshop Forum; only available to registered students.

For more information on the TEL Technology Workshops, please visit the Technology Workshops section.

To unsubscribe and opt out of all future email notifications, please access the Technology Workshop Forum activity and select the cog icon, located in the upper right corner, followed by 'Unsubscribe from this Forum'. Alternatively, select the 'Unsubscribe' option, located at the bottom of the email notification. Students can later resubscribe following this same process if preferred.

Kind Regards,

  1. Posting comments
HI, I'm very new to OCA courses and trying to do all the things asked of me in the first unit.  This includes posting comments on other people's blogs.  I've tried to do this but the comments don't appear.  I presume I'm doing something wrong but I can't work out what.  Is this something you could help me with?  Thanks

  3. Re: Posting comments

Some owners keep comments on hold till they’ve checked them rather than letting them appear straightaway.

    Dear Jennifer,

Thank you for your question and to those who’ve already responded.

As Suzanne correctly mentioned, your comment is likely awaiting approval from the blog’s owner and it's likely they’re unaware, and I would therefore recommend contacting them directly to inform them.

As the majority of students receive email notifications for this forum, I’ll be disabling student responses, however, I welcome you to continue this thread and/or ask any additional questions using the TEL Team Q&A Forum.

    Kind regards,
