Are Level 2 Creative Writing students required to redraft the 500-word reflective commentaries submitted with each assignment for assessment?

Now that you’ve reached the end of the course, you’re asked to submit a longer commentary (1500 to 2000 words or 16 minutes) in which you reflect on the course as a whole. Unlike the short commentaries you’ve written previously, this commentary will be assessed as part of your total submission if you decide to go down the formal assessment route.

I understand that our final reflective commentaries (1500 to 2000 words) will be assessed, but what about the shorter ones?

Thanks in advance for your response.

Hi Alice,

No, you're not required to redraft the 500 word commentaries. My understanding is that you only need to submit one final overall reflective commentary, which may draw upon the previous ones. With this final reflective commentary, you'll need to submit the original draft (from your final assignment) alongside the final draft.

I hope this clarifies what you'll need to submit for you unit's assessment.
