Welcome to the OCA's Assessment Guidance resource!
In this resource you will find all all of the information you need about formal assessment at the OCA, organised into simple steps to help you understand, prepare, and submit for assessment.
In this introductory section, you will find:
- the Assessment questions forum, where you can ask your own questions about assessment,
- and the Announcements record forum, where you can find plain text copies of student wide email communications regarding assessment.
Read through the first section of this resource, Understanding assessment, to help you understand how assessment works, and to identify what you need to submit in support of your unit's learning outcomes.
Student Voice Festival Recording - July 2024
In the following video, you can play a recording of the Assessment Open Forum session from the OCA Student Voice Festival 2024. The original session was held on 18 July 2024, with OCA students who signed up for the event, and was run as an open forum to allow students in attendance to pose their own questions and inform further discussion. The session went on to talk students through the Assessment Guidance resource content and answer queries as they arose.
We would like to thank the students for their participation in this session, and for the ongoing engagement of all students with this Assessment Guidance resource and the OCA Assessment Team.
