      THE MEETINGS ARE ON 22ND OF EACH MONTH - 4 - 5.30pm.

      a series of studio meetings for students on stage three (HE6) graduating courses on the painting pathway. a chance to discuss course and pathway issues, chat with peers and the programme leader and help shape your degree. come along - make suggestions - ask for guest speakers - punt projects - make your voice heard and be part of the painting community.

      a relaxed chance to meet and discuss anything related to the painting pathway at stage three – so major project, contextual study and sustaining your practice units at this point.

      you can join without video, listen in, or just use the chat box if you don’t enjoy video calls.

      In submitting your work for Formal Summative Assessment, you need to provide the following through this Assignment Activity:

          1. A selection of entries from your combined learning log for the  Major Project and Contextual Studies courses. These should evidence the connections between your coursework and the learning outcomes. Aim to submit approximately two or three entries for each learning outcome.

          2. Your complete listening log for both courses

          3. Your 1000-1500 word Project Plan in Word or PDF format. 

          4. A selection of Creative Work forming a portfolio of 20-25 minutes duration.

          5. A reflective presentation or evaluation. This will be an opportunity to reflect on your learning experiences as a whole. It can take the form of a presentation, short video, or a written piece, and should be 6 minutes or 750 words long.

          6. Your tutor reports for all five assignments, and any annotations your tutor has made on your work.

      Please check the current assessment guidelines carefully before submitting your work, and ensure that all of the required work is uploaded in the correct format and clearly labelled. If you have any questions, please contact the Programme Leader before the submission deadline.

    At assignments one, two, five, seven and ten, students will first submit a link to their learning log using the respective assignment activity, before booking a 1-to-1 tutorial with their allocated tutor using the following Cal widget. 

    During the booking process, first select your preferred time and date, before entering your name and OCA email address on the following page. Upon confirming your booking, you’ll subsequently receive an automated email confirming your booking, including the date, time, attendees, location and the option to add the event to your Google Calendar.

    The tutorial will then be facilitated using Google Meet, and can later be accessed by the email invitation or your Google Calendar.

    To view all your existing meeting on Cal, navigate to OCA Cal and select the ‘bookings’ menu from the left hand side.

    For guidance on using Google Meet please refer to the tech guidance pages on OCA Learn.

    Please note that when making a booking using the embedded Cal widget, the available slots are shown in your current time zone, as indicated to the left of the available dates and times.
